Knowing what Chart to use
A successful and safe flight starts with careful and detailed planning. Planning starts with knowing what tools to use. Always start out with using the right chart. Are you flying VFR or IFR ? GPS is great, but "electronic gadgets" are subject to glitches. Knowing "basic navigation" through the use of a plotter, the correct chart, and flight- computer, to determine your flight path, and marking your checkpoints and drift lines, will prevent you from getting lost. Our ground school will prepare you for the planning of a successful and safe flight because we will teach you the necessary skills to compute the whole flight dynamics in your head, and not just by relying on a GPS.
