Our Aircraft
Cobalt Aviation operates two well-equipped, low total time, Cessna 172s: C-GYPN and CF-GSQ. We also have a Cessna 182Q which is totally refurbished with new interior and exterior. It has a GNS 530 GPS system as well. The C182 has a constant speed variable pitch prop.
Cessna 172s
With its exceptional stability and high-wing design, the Cessna 172 Skyhawk is a very forgiving aeroplane, making it a perfect flight training and sight-seeing aircraft.Since its inception in 1956, the Skyhawk has been one of the most successful aeroplanes ever produced. More than 30,000 are in active use today.
C-GYPN
C-GYPN is a 172N; it was manufactured in 1978 and its TTSN (Total Time Since New) is only 2300 hours. Onboard, C-GYPN has one VHF communication radio, VOR, ILS, ADF, and a dash-mount.
CF-GSQ
CF-GSQ is a 172M; it was manufactured in 1973 and its TTSN (Total Time Since New) is only 2700 hours. Onboard, CF-GSQ has one VHF communication radio, ADF, and a panel-mounted Trimble.
C- FCKK
Our latest addition to the family. A Cessna 182 for rental. Check out by our CFI is mandatory. Rental is $200 per hour solo and $250 with our pilot.
