Cessna 182Q
This summer Erissa acquired a totally refurbished C182Q. It is a 230 HP, 6 cylinder, constant speed, variable pitch prop Cessna with a cruising speed of 145 knots which should be a great aircraft for cross country flight. It does consume 12 gallons of avgas vs. 8 gallons for the C172. The operating cost will be 50% more than the C172 because of that. So if you want to rent it, you will need a check out ride first which will be in $250 an hour with a CFI and $200 per hour solo.
