A Flight to Chilliwack for Pie!
Well, Like most pilots, we sit in the hangar, and wonder where we would like to fly to when the sun is up and the sky is CAVU ( meaning the Ceiling And Visibility is Unlimited)….. And so it is that Last Saturday, my pilot friends, Wilf and Peter, showed up at Cobalt Aviation all smiles and spruced up for a flight, and we decided we would fly to get the $100 legendary hamburger ( a cheap hamburger plus aviation fuel for a 2 hour flight), in the form of pies at the Chilliwack airport. Chilliwack airport restaurant touts itself to have the Best Pies in the Fraser Valley and beyond…. and indeed they have, among other things …. It was a Short but fun flight and we have a slide show here to prove it….The pies were great, the company was greater and the air time was the greatest.
