Erissa’s First Long Solo!
Erissa’s first long solo cross country photos in Oct. 2003. She flew from Pitt Meadows airport to Abbotsford, landed, take off and then to Chilliwack with a touch and go procedure, and then flew the Fraser Canyon to Hope, did a turn around and flew to Langley airport, did a touch and go and then to the Boundary Bay Airport, landed and took off home again to Pitt Meadows. It was a 150 NM journey all on her own. Photos were taken from a dash camera she installed herself”. This is the start of many solos flights for her including many flights to the USA. She trained with Sparky Imeson of www.mountainflying.com in the Idaho backcountry strips landing in many dirt and grass strips along the Snake River. She flew many flights in Jackson Hole, and Yellow Stone, Wyoming, Southern Utah and Colorado as well as the Grand Canyon in Arizona.
